Proprietor Leslie C. Lewis has been a specialist in the field of communication, conflict resolution and wellness for over twenty years. She has worked with adults and children of all ages in diverse settings including corporations, non-profit organizations, faith groups, housing projects, sports teams, colleges and schools to improve community life and strengthen interpersonal relationships. As the former Executive Director of the non-profit Dispute Settlement Center, Inc., she introduced the first restorative justice program in the Connecticut court system. With a particular interest in intergenerational communication, she designed and facilitated mother/daughter workshops for the Girl Scouts in New York and mother/daughter groups in the Denver area, and conducted parent-teen mediations and restorative justice circles in Connecticut and Colorado. She has written on the intersection of psychology and religion, contributing to publications such as the Blanton Peale Journal of Religion and Health.
Leslie is also a certified clinical herbalist and flower essence practitioner, having studied extensively with Rosemary Gladstar, Kate Gilday, Matthew Wood, and David Dalton, among others. Using her skills as a Colorado Native Plant Master, and her decades-long experience as an herbalist, she educates the public about native and medicinal plants and provides herbal medicine and other products from her front-yard xeric garden
